First Quest: Grand Opening of the Seven Winds Health and Beauty Spa

This is Deedee Yeowoo, lately of Elysium.

I’ve used some of what I earned from the last job to start a business in the Brimstone district, the Seven Winds Health and Beauty spa. So far we have a hot spring, a cool bath, and some tables and chairs for bodywork.

Naturally, I intend to further the cause with the place, both as a safe retreat and place for me to heal Corsairs in trouble and to get rich nobles so pampered and relaxed that they’ll forget they’re in front of the help and blab about how hard their job is and all the stupid regulations their boss put in place to stop, say, the Corsairs from waltzing in.

If anyone needs healing or rest, stop by. I’m also going to need supplies - salves, soaps, oils and incense, even actual real medicine. If there’s anything like a truth potion that would also be very helpful.

I'm a decent herbalist, but I'm out at Flotsam most of the time. You also might try getting some music. Not loud enough to stifle conversation, but to add to the feel.

RIGHT, I'm used to music being piped in, and given that I'm talking on our cutting edge communicators we'd need live musicians. Thank you, that slipped my mind.

On Mundus it was, yes. I think they used air crystals to do it but I’m not an enchantress, just a godbotherer and healer.

That could mean a whole number of things and it's likely none of them map exactly to what I know. Beast speech? Healing? A glowing green thumb?

The first two. Plus elemental and plant magic. And shapeshifting into animals, which is my favorite.

Something like a Shaman on Mundus, then. Though assumptions are dangerous.

At some point we should swap notes. My magic comes as a gift from a god of wind, travel, and practical jokes.

True. Technically druid magic comes from the gods, probably. It's usually only the gods that have some focus on nature, and druids have less of a duty to a specific god than a cleric does.

Is your magic a gift or... 'if I give you these powers, will you support things I want done'? Like travel and practical jokes.

Some of my powers I just have. Others are in return for keeping vows and oaths sworn to Sylphan. The biggest one is the ability to make those oaths on behalf of others.

Civilians on Mundus joke about "godbotherers" even if the technical term is "cleric" over there.
