I'm, uh, I'm also really grateful that the Corsairs rescued me, and were still willing to give me a home and a chance after everything I did. It's nice to meet you... again, is it? We met at Elysium. I am... recovering all right. It's slow, but I will get there eventually.

So you remember? Yes, we fed the pigeons together. You were badly hurt back then as well.

I do seem to get hurt an awful lot, yes.

It's difficult to avoid when you're placed into a combatant role. But if you wish to help the Corsairs, it isn't the only option open to you.

I'm not sure what else I can really do except fight...

[Rezo hums.] Can you read and write? Do you have some understanding of mathematics? Can you cook or clean? Carry and fetch? We don't spend all our time on battles. There's plenty of simple labor that needs doing, and you can learn whatever you don't know.

I... I think I can do those things.

There are many kind people among the Corsairs. As long as you're willing to put in an effort, I'm certain you'll have no trouble finding a place for yourself.
