A message from Marcille
Everyone knows that the empire wiped most of the dragons out ages ago. If any survived, they went deep into hiding or fled to distant lands. But even so, I’m wondering if anyone in the revolution has had any encounters with dragons. Or even any dragon-like creatures?
This…would have been recent. Maybe within the last month.
It was red.
Mostly red.

Her?

[Possible more than friend? Who knows.]
I know it's a tall order but there's got to be some way to like...capture her? And undo what the Empire did.

[She feels foolish, for saying that in a body made by the empire, to apparently contain the soul of some noble or something. She was the lucky one, but she covers the shame with rightful anger.]
I don't know how to go about undoing this, but we should start by making sure they can't do it to more people, right?

I'll help how ever I can...
[Her heart isn't in it. Yes, the revolution is important. Yes the Empire is terrible. But what Marcille mainly just wants is for her life to go back to how it was, with Falin.]

[Is that because they don't want the empire to have fire breathing dragons, because they support gay rights, or because they just really think transforming people into chimeras is immoral?]
Um, was your friend...alive or dead, when they did this to her? It might make a difference, if I need to pull texts on transmutation or necromancy to research a way to help.

[Marcille honestly hadn’t given the question much thought. She technically already knew the basics of necromancy, and was confident she could figure out what needed to be done once she had Falin contained.
She didn’t really like to advertise that she knew necromancy, though, so she kept that bit to herself.]

I'm sorry, I wish I could be more help.
[It's not the knowing necromancy that would worry Angelika but the using of it...]

[It’s not okay, but not in a way that’s Angelika’s fault.]
Somehow, I feel like this isn’t the kind of project that will be solved overnight.
Going through the library for similar cases probably wouldn’t be a bad place to start, though. Thank you.
