A pirate's tactic
This is more directed to those, who like me have been dragged to this world, though I won't fault a native for listening in.
I am curious as to what we might have in common: world names, languages, culture, technology - and what is different.
This isn't just idle curiosity or a means of trying to find some comfort of familiarity in such a strange land, but I suspect if there is enough of a commonality in one area or another, we could in someway use it to our advantage against the Empire.

So it is possible all of our home realities exist due to one sort of deviation or another - but I am not a Quantum Physicist, so don't ask me for the exact explanations.

Do you have some experience with it yourself?

No, but I've heard stories. I did encounter someone who could manipulate time in an enclosed space so it'd run much slower than on the outside, like the Dragon's Palace or the fairy lands of Europe.

I've seen that, too! I know of a room where a day outside the room equals a whole year inside the room. I've used it for training before, as has my dad and some of our friends.
